The Silicon Valley for People: using insights from global tech hubs to build a human-centered innovation ecosystem
The challenges inherent in the Future of Work are too big for any organizations to tackle alone. Just as innovation in technology has benefitted from ecosystems in which multiple entities collaborate and compete to build the future, we need an ecosystem to drive innovation in people management, leadership, and human resources. UZH CLFW’s Silicon Valley for People course, designed and delivered by Prof. Dr. Lauren Howe, invited Masters and PhD students to shape the Future of Work by challenging them to design an HR innovation ecosystem for Zurich. In just two weeks in September 2021, guided by their instructors, inspired by guest speakers, and coached by their mentors, students designed and brought to life thought-provoking ideas for how to build a vibrant people innovation ecosystem.
Congratulations to our two winning teams for offering powerful visions for the HR Valley: Emily Bauer and Jessica Ebnöther, and Florence Bernays and Vera Hampel.
